Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq., provides that public records made or received by the Township in the course of business shall be made available for inspection and copying upon request, unless the records are exempt from disclosure.
You may inspect public records at no charge. Copy fees may apply per Illinois FOIA law.
